Black Pine Tree Sushi Bar: Experience Authentic Asian Fusion Delights

Great place with super friendly staff. Priced very well considering the quality of the fish. I had the Sashimi Deluxe. The quality of fish was fantastic. The presentation was beautiful. My only minor complaint is that the salad was soaked in dressing. That may be a regional (Detroit) thing. The salad was very good but I would have liked a much lighter dressing. I sat at the sushi bar and watched the chefs make other meals. They all looked amazing.

We went here almost 10 years ago and loved it, back again and it's still lovely :) Food is delicious, our server was kind, and staff were accomodating to a fish allergy (we just politely asked if they could use different knives/cutting board). Favorite roll is still the Black Tiger. We'll be back more often

Haven’t been to the place in a while due to life lol. Tonight went to have dinner with my mom. For a Friday they were busy with carry outs and dine ins. But they did not let that stop them from providing great service and even greater food. Will definitely be back; can’t recommend enough the Spicy Scallop roll! Keep up the great work!

Went at lunch time and they were not overly busy. Had great service and our food was delicious, as always. The restaurant is always very clean, too.

Good prices. The Firecracker roll is very tasty. The star of the show is 100% the Obama Roll. It is a life experience for the sushi lover. Very very tasty. The dumplings are ok, nothing to write home about. They have some sweet Star Wars/samuri graphics on the wall. The people working there are all very friendly. They gave aome wonderful suggestions.

This place was amazing. We will be back regularly and we will recommend the hell out of this place to anyone and everyone! Seriously! First of all, we came in at 45 minutes till close and they warmingly and happily welcomed us and sat us at the sushi bar. Erika was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal! The sushi chefs are amazing and create masterpieces! They are seriously the best. Bless all of you that work here!

5 stars all day. Wow this sushi was so good…. The salad dressing ? I am head over heels. I’ve been trying to find anything like that since. The beef curry was something I’ve never experienced anything like before. My friend liked it so much she literally kept my leftovers. I don’t have enough good things to say about it. Can’t say much about service or atmosphere since we did take out, but if the food is that good I can only imagine an in-store dining experience would be just as good.
